PURIFICATION AND FILTRATION OF THIN STILLAGE


Thin stillage is a liquid fraction that is formed after centrifugation of whole bard. For further processing and improving its quality, it is thickened to obtain the so-called concentrate. Thickening takes place on vacuum evaporation plants, the main drawback of which is the technical complexity and metal consumption of the process and high operating costs.

  • Reduction of electricity costs. The membrane stage of concentration is five times more economical than the similar process on vacuum-evaporation units.
